1996 and received her Registered Veterinary Technician license that

Her typical day at
Adobe Pet Hospital is anything but! She and the rest of the team
must be prepared to respond to any emergency that comes
through the door. Then, on the flip side, still provide consistent
quality of service to their scheduled clients.
"As a veterinary
technician, my job is to assist the doctors with various procedures,

to our hospitalized patients," Laura said.
Performing dental
prophylaxes and preparing Adobe's patients for surgery top Laura's
list of challenging and enjoyable tasks. She also enjoys working
with clients and their new pets during the hospital's "Puppy and
Kitten Packages."
In addition to her
contribution to the well-being of Adobe's furry patients, Laura also
welcomes rescued animals into her home. Her menagerie includes; one
dog, four cats, seven rabbits, four tortoises, one rat, one bird,
fish and pigeons. On top of that, she still works with the Lindsay
Wildlife Museum and its Wildlife Rehabilitation program, often
caring for wild creatures along with her own!
Here's one person that
definitely made the right choice for their second career!
